OUR HUMBLE BEGINNING ...
When the Apostolic Church Uganda, a Pentecostal affiliate of the Apostolic Church Nigeria unfairly dismissed Pastor Geoffrey Okot in April 2016, he decided to move back to Northern Uganda his home town; a land that was ravaged by over two decades of the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) atrocities of displacement, kidnaps, mutilations and killings

SURE WORD MINISTRY AND THE THREE ANGEL'S FELLOWSHIP
TO
THOU ART THE CHRIST, NORTHERN UGANDA
The Sure Word Ministry (SWM) and The Three Angels Fellowship through Thou Art The Christ have actively collaborated on a missionary movement in Northern Uganda specifically Nwoya district, focusing on both spiritual outreach and community development. These missions have heavily impacted Northern Uganda, where both local gatherings and relief projects are actively helping communities heal from past displacement and poverty. Their main activities in the region include: -
Leadership & Clergy Training: since 2021, they launched the Sure Word Bible College which have equipped nearly 100 local pastors and lay leaders across the region with Bible Instructor Certificates to help them effectively minister to their congregations.
Digital & Virtual Evangelism: Originally spurred by travel restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic, the ministries continue to host virtual meetings and Bible studies, as well as broadcast the Three Angels' Messages across digital networks like the Three Angels Fellowship Network.
Community Outreach: Moving beyond the pulpit, their humanitarian efforts include addressing basic needs, improving rural sanitation and running educational and health campaigns for vulnerable families and many more

OUR COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION INITIATIVES
Our major life-changing initiatives to the vulnerable communities of Northern Uganda are psychosocial support, climate-smart agriculture and skilling of the youth. Through the support of Uganda National Farmers Federation and the Young Farmers Federation of Uganda, the ministry offers farm training on climate-adaptive farming methods, crop diversification and market engagement in order to overcome food insecurity and increase farmer’s household income. The Ministry also provides mental health counseling, mediation and peace and reconciliation platforms to individuals and families who are still battling the impact of the decades of LRA conflict
Thou Art The Christ operates local initiatives built on the principle of treating the whole person that is the mind, body and spirit. Key life-changing programs includes provision of clean water sources such as the borehole projects drilled at the Headquarter premises and operating Thou Art The Christ Nursery and Primary School with the purpose of providing comprehensive mental, physical, and spiritual development. Selected Pastors from the ministry are also undertaking Medical Evangelism Training from the Three Angel School of Health in order to establish a wellness centers for disease prevention, healthy lifestyle education and community healing.

As we enter the month of September, Thou Art The Christ is preparing for a series of events that are expected to significantly influence the operation of the organization and its services to God, humanity and the community. Such events includes; the setting up of the Board of Directors Special Committee (7th Sept 2025); setting up a committee to support the marriage of the CEO (7th Sept 2025); Orientation and Swearing in of the School Management Committee of Thou Art The Christ Nursery and Primary School (9th Sept 2025); Reopening of Term III of Thou Art The Christ Nursery and Primary School (15th Sept 2025); preparation for the January 2026 Sure Word Mission to Uganda (19th Sept 2025); and conclusion of the Sure Word Bible College 2025 Academic Year (25th -27th Sept 2025) among others
