Who We Are

Thou Art The Christ is a DO-IT-YOURSELF Christian ministry where ABSOLUTE HOLINESS, COMPLETE OBEDIENCE and AGGRESSIVE PRAYER is taught, practiced and used to unlock the treasures of the kingdom of heaven and have power and dominion over satan and his kingdom

It was founded in September 2016 in a small village called Koch Goma Sub County  of Northern Uganda (East Africa), incorporated in June 2018 with Uganda Registration Service Bureau (URSB) as a company limited by guarantee; Registration Number 80020001032444 and officially launched on 6th October 2019

Our Objectives

  1. To preach the Gospel according to the authorized King James Version, proclaim Salvation and exhibit the full Gospel message
  2. To celebrate God’s presence in sweet fellowship and testify of His Glorious work
  3. To discover and re-position destinies for divine fulfillment
  4. To establish a standard of holiness and righteousness by waging continuous and aggressive war against sin, unrighteousness and injustices
  5. To raise an End Time Prayer Warriors of the Lord
  6. To perfect the saints for the work of the ministry, edify the body of Christ and establish branches or mission fields everywhere  
  7. To revive Apostolic Signs, Holy Ghost Fireworks and demonstrate the unlimited power of God to deliver the uttermost
  8. To re-gather children of God who are lost in dead churches and deliver those who have become slaves to Pastors, Prophets And Apostles
  9. To engage in Christian service by cheerfully extending God’s helping hands to the community
  10. To prepare Believers for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ

What We Believe and Teach

  1. The one supreme, true and infinite God who eternally exist in three unified persons as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit –Mathew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14
  2. The inherent corruption of man through the fall, the necessity of repentance and regeneration by grace through faith in Christ alone and the eternal separation from God of the finally unrepentant –Romans 3:23, Ephesians 2, Act 20:21, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Revelation 20:11-15
  3. The virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, triumphant resurrection, ascension and continuing intercession of our Lord Jesus Christ; His second coming and millennial reign upon the earth –Mathew 1:18-25, Hebrews 2:9, 1 Peter 2:21-24, Act 2:29-32
  4. The justification and sanctification of believers through the finished work of Christ on the cross –Romans 3:21-24, Ephesians 4:23-24, Romans 8:1, 1 Peter 2:9
  5. The Church, the body and the espoused bride of Christ, a spiritual organism made up of believers headed by Jesus Christ who is glorified in heaven and the Holy spirit as its active agent who unifies Believers to each other and all to Christ –Matthew 16:18, Ephesians 5:23, 1 Corinthians 1:9
  6. The baptism of the Holy Ghost with supernatural signs, fruits and gifts empowering the Church for its mission to the world –Act 2, 10:44-48, Galatians 6:22-24
  7. The sacrament of Baptism by immersion, an initiation rites into the Church, a symbol of Spirit Baptism, a typical of remission of sin; and an answer of good conscience towards God –Mathew 28:19-20, Romans 6:3-14
  8. The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper, a memorial of the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ, a typical of common union of the saints and a memorial, pointing to both the death and second coming of Jesus Christ –Luke 22:19-20, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
  9. The feet washing, a symbol of humility and of brotherly equality for mutual service –John 13:14-15
  10. The possibilities of falling from grace -1 Corinthians 10:12, 1 Timothy 1:19-20, Hebrews 3:12
  11. The devotional head covering of Christian women as a symbol of relation between men and women in the Lord and a sign of divine authority -1 Corinthians 11:2-16
  12. Christian salutation, an holy kiss and a kiss of charity –Romans 16:16, 1 Peter 5:14
  13. Anointing with oil accompanied with fervent prayers, a symbol of God’s grace manifested in divine healings –James 5:14-15

  15. The church government through the office of the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors, Teachers, Elders, Deacons and Deaconesses for unity, maturity and church growth–Ephesians 4:11, 1 Timothy 3:1-13, Titus 1:5-11
  16. The security of believers as they remain in Christ –John 10:27-29, Job 1:9-10
  17. The obligatory nature of bringing tithes and offerings to the house of God –Act 20:35, Malachi 3:10-12
  18. Marriage, a union of a man and a woman; dissoluble by death only; a typical of Christ and the Church and therefore must be kept pure and far from all forms of  fornication, adultery, incest, homosexuality and bestiality etc  –Genesis 2:23-24, Mark 10:2-12
  19. The singing and making melody in our heart to the Lord through Hymns, Psalms and Spiritual songs –Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16, Matthew 26:30, Act 16:25, Psalms 98:4-8
  20. The Christian decent and respectable dressing with modesty and self control–Deuteronomy 22:5, Romans 12:2
  21. The sovereign selection of Israel as God’s eternal covenant people who is currently dispersed because of her disobedience and rejection of Christ but will be re-gathered in the holy land after the completion of the Church and will be saved as a nation at the second advent of Christ –Genesis 17:7, Romans 11:25-27

The civil government, a divine appointment for the interest and good order of human society; should be prayed for, conscientiously honoured and obeyed, except in those things that is opposed to the will of our Lord Jesus who is the King of kings and the Lord of lords –Romans 13:1-7, I Timothy 2:1-4
